Take a look at how the Digital Matrix Systems office at Preston Park Towers came to fruition! Designed by @perkinswill_dal, this full-floor renovation features polished concrete floors, open-to-deck ceilings (involving significant ductwork redesign) and unique light coves surrounding the walkways. At the center of it all is their Network Operations Center where they leverage the power of data for their clients.

@trammellcrowcenter gains a new tenant in ORIX Corporation—And a new monumental stair connecting floors 18, 19, and 20! Totaling 100,000 square feet, this US headquarters in the newly redeveloped downtown high-rise will help ORIX attract and retain top talent. This project was designed by @hksarchitects and managed by @stillwatercapital.
A new US headquarters positions ORIX for growth, encourages engagement and productivity amongst their workforce, and helps them attract top talent. Located in Trammell Crow Center, this 100,000 square foot, three-floor project was designed by HKS Architects and managed by Stillwater Capital.

K2 recently completed a $15 million capital improvement project at 5600 Headquarters (originally PepsiCo’s Plano campus), transforming the building into an amenity-rich, modernized office with flexibility for future tenants. Significant structural work was completed to accommodate a building expansion and new curtain wall. Wellness initiatives include a state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor pickleball courts, walking trails, and a full-service BBQ pit and outdoor kitchen.

Spanning four floors and 112,000 square feet, Wingstop’s new corporate headquarters at One West Village (previously home to the Richards Group) was built by K2 in partnership with Corgan and DFW Project Solutions. The office houses Wingstop’s fully in-person workforce, providing a convenient location and reflecting their compelling culture. The brand has seen tremendous growth both in number of restaurants and in annual sales volume over the years, and this new headquarters will support their continued evolvement for years to come.
Under new ownership, 5600 Headquarters Drive (previous home to PepsiCo’s Dallas Campus) underwent a $15 million interior and exterior improvement to reposition the building as a Class A, multi-tenant office building. K2 completed the addition of meeting rooms, upgraded and increased the footprint of the cafeteria, and conference rooms. Wellness initiatives at 5600 Headquarters include a new state-of-the-art fitness center with locker rooms, an outdoor pickleball court, outdoor walking trails, and a full-service BBQ pit. Additionally, the design increased the amount of natural light in the building by demolishing and rebuilding the curtain wall and adding new skylights in the satellite buildings’ elevator lobbies. The project supports a return to the office via an amenity-rich, modern, Class A office experience in Plano. This project was completed in partnership with @gffdesign @lincolnpropertyco and Rubenstein Partners, and was photographed by @erikenc2.

Designed by HOK, the office includes custom curved millwork, back-lit wood paneled feature walls, custom planter boxes on radius completed with bent marble, polished concrete floors, and demountable office fronts.
Congratulations to Michael Davis, Superintendent, for being recognized as the 2024 Safety I2P2 Award Winner! An OSHA 30 Hour certified superintendent, he leads his own daily toolbox talks, performs daily audits of all equipment on his projects, and truly lives by the K2 Safety Values of being informed, empowered, and mindful at all times. Michael does not take safety on his jobsite lightly. He enforces daily the OSHA and K2 Safety policies with all that enter his projects, and he leads by example. Agustin Rivas!
His peers described him as one of the hardest working employees at K2. A K2 Superintendent commented, “Agustin enthusiastically performs whatever tasks are asked of him. The property managers and building engineers really like him because of the way he installs and maintains protection." He is said to come early, stay late, and maintain an upbeat attitude even in the most challenging of circumstances. Another K2 coworker stated, “I request Agustin on my projects! He is the perfect example of what K2 stands for and what we are all trying to represent. He has my vote for K2 Hero of the Year.”

In partnership with Rubenstein Partners and GFF, K2 recently completed a $20 million significant interior and exterior improvement to reposition the building as a high-end, multi-tenant office building. This 250,000 SF building features a revamped amenities package and now includes a new internal stair, commercial kitchen, fitness and training centers, and lobby. Significant structural work was completed to accommodate a building expansion and new curtain wall.

Pickleball’s popularity is on the rise, and Spectrum Center was listening. As a part of their multi-million dollar capital improvements project, the office now features a new fitness center including two full-sized pickleball courts! This is one of many new amenities now available to tenants of this landmark Addison office campus.

From fabricating the Monument Café to executing the vision of the grand staircase, which included intricate glass handrails and custom millwork, building with perfect precision was essential to creating the energy-fueled experience PMG set out to achieve. Third Bridge Group’s Dallas office provides world’s top investors and leaders with research to make financially sound investment decisions. Intricately built artistic millwork coupled with uniquely designed elements of creativity throughout the office all celebrate the company’s roots in London, where the entire project team was based. Open office and shared work spaces make up the majority of the space, including the library-inspired huddle room with a feature wall made entirely of books.

After completing over 120 projects with @mcafee over the last 20 years, we are proud to announce that the global tech firm’s new regional HQ at The Star is open for business! The space was created to serve a fully remote workforce with a design catered towards meetings, events, and training sessions as opposed to private offices. Guests and employees are welcomed via a hotel lobby inspired entry with capability for a technology powered check in system in lieu of a traditional reception desk. The project was designed by Gensler and managed by Cushman and Wakefield.
Located at @pga of America’s new Frisco campus, the Coaching Center is a global hub designed to develop and foster the PGA coaching philosophy. The center offers training, club fittings, fitness, and state-of-the-art technology. From 1:1 sessions to group clinics, golfers at all levels can refine their swing, enhance their putting, or sharpen specific skills like green reading and playing in the wind. This project was completed in partnership with @cushwake and @pagethink.

UT Southwestern’s 30,000 SF clinic opened last week at 2999 Olympus, Cypress Waters’ tallest and newest building. The clinic offers primary and preventative care, an onsite phlebotomy station, immunization for adults and for children, women’s health services, and chronic illness management. This project was completed in partnership with idGroup.

National Homebuilder M/I Homes moved into their new office and showroom at Lake Vista II! Connected to a new design center, the space showcases their residential finishes and features a 50/50 split lobby, detailed tile design, linear recessed lighting and open to deck ceiling in the amenity areas. This project was designed by @interprise_design and managed by @cushwake.
Now open at @grandscapetx in The Colony, @meetatroam provides flexible shared workspace with a full-service Coffee Bar and views of the Great Lawn. This Texas inspired space is the first Roam location in Dallas and features secret entrances into hidden libraries and a speakeasy feel. This project was completed in partnership with @bokapowell.

Tailored to local entrepreneuers, Spark provides private offices, collaboration areas, amenities, and community to catalyze new businesses in Arlington. Located at the Toyota Music Factory, @curativetalent’s new corporate headquarters houses 200 employees focused on recruiting top healthcare talent. The casual, collaborative space makes going to work fun and functional and champions the employee-focused culture.

That’s a wrap on K2’s annual service project! This year we partnered with Make-A-Wish America to build a covered patio for a family whose daughter has a condition prohibiting her from sun exposure. Before the new patio she was forced to stay indoors during the family's time in the backyard—Now she is able to join in on the fun. Using our construction expertise to benefit the community … That’s what it’s all about!

Mark is an industry vet with 17 years of construction experience. He hosts informative daily toolbox talks, keeps a meticulously tidy project, and holds himself and everyone who walks on to his projects to extremely high standards. No visitor, trade partner, or K2 employee is exempt from following his rigorous safety policies. He spends time each week continuing his safety training and education. In 2023, K2 Construction's office will be relocating to a recently acquired standalone warehouse/office building in North Dallas! To celebrate the news, the K2 Crew hosted our first company lunch in the building and kicked off the renovations by demoing a wall on the east end.

Significant structural work was completed to accommodate a building expansion and new curtain wall. Wellness initiatives include a state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor pickleball courts, walking trails, and a full-service BBQ pit and outdoor kitchen.

Spanning four floors and 112,000 square feet, Wingstop’s new corporate headquarters at One West Village (previously home to the Richards Group) was built by K2 in partnership with Corgan and DFW Project Solutions. The office houses Wingstop’s fully in-person workforce, providing a convenient location and reflecting their compelling culture. The brand has seen tremendous growth both in number of restaurants and in annual sales volume over the years, and this new headquarters will support their continued evolvement for years to come.
Under new ownership, 5600 Headquarters Drive (previous home to PepsiCo’s Dallas Campus) underwent a $15 million interior and exterior improvement to reposition the building as a Class A, multi-tenant office building. K2 completed the addition of meeting rooms, upgraded and increased the footprint of the cafeteria, and conference rooms. Wellness initiatives at 5600 Headquarters include a new state-of-the-art fitness center with locker rooms, an outdoor pickleball court, outdoor walking trails, and a full-service BBQ pit. Additionally, the design increased the amount of natural light in the building by demolishing and rebuilding the curtain wall and adding new skylights in the satellite buildings’ elevator lobbies. The project supports a return to the office via an amenity-rich, modern, Class A office experience in Plano. This project was completed in partnership with @gffdesign @lincolnpropertyco and Rubenstein Partners, and was photographed by @erikenc2.

Agustin Rivas!

In partnership with Rubenstein Partners and GFF, K2 recently completed a $20 million significant interior and exterior improvement to reposition the building as a high-end, multi-tenant office building. This 250,000 SF building features a revamped amenities package and now includes a new internal stair, commercial kitchen, fitness and training centers, and lobby. Significant structural work was completed to accommodate a building expansion and new curtain wall.

Third Bridge Group’s Dallas office provides world’s top investors and leaders with research to make financially sound investment decisions. Intricately built artistic millwork coupled with uniquely designed elements of creativity throughout the office all celebrate the company’s roots in London, where the entire project team was based. Open office and shared work spaces make up the majority of the space, including the library-inspired huddle room with a feature wall made entirely of books.

Designed by Gensler and managed by JLL, this office features a custom circular coffee bar with poured-in-place terrazzo floors and three separate ceiling elements that all had to be precisely planned for in the field to create a seamless alignment. After completing over 120 projects with @mcafee over the last 20 years, we are proud to announce that the global tech firm’s new regional HQ at The Star is open for business! The space was created to serve a fully remote workforce with a design catered towards meetings, events, and training sessions as opposed to private offices. Guests and employees are welcomed via a hotel lobby inspired entry with capability for a technology powered check in system in lieu of a traditional reception desk. The project was designed by Gensler and managed by Cushman and Wakefield.
Located at @pga of America’s new Frisco campus, the Coaching Center is a global hub designed to develop and foster the PGA coaching philosophy. The center offers training, club fittings, fitness, and state-of-the-art technology. From 1:1 sessions to group clinics, golfers at all levels can refine their swing, enhance their putting, or sharpen specific skills like green reading and playing in the wind. This project was completed in partnership with @cushwake and @pagethink.

UT Southwestern’s 30,000 SF clinic opened last week at 2999 Olympus, Cypress Waters’ tallest and newest building. The clinic offers primary and preventative care, an onsite phlebotomy station, immunization for adults and for children, women’s health services, and chronic illness management. Now open at @grandscapetx in The Colony, @meetatroam provides flexible shared workspace with a full-service Coffee Bar and views of the Great Lawn. This Texas inspired space is the first Roam location in Dallas and features secret entrances into hidden libraries and a speakeasy feel. This project was completed in partnership with @bokapowell.

Mark is an industry vet with 17 years of construction experience. No visitor, trade partner, or K2 employee is exempt from following his rigorous safety policies. He spends time each week continuing his safety training and education. We are lucky to have him as a part of the K2 Crew!
